The Victoria offers clean, comfortable rooms with a lovely blend of traditional and modern decor. Its central location is perfect for exploring shops and the nearby seafront. the beds provide excellent comfort, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Onsite parking is available, and the room had nice amenities like a tea tray and a stylish kettle.
We had kids with us. No connecting rooms available.

Everything was good, excellent value for money. The hotel was delightful with a wide range of airy rooms. It was in a great location close to Falsgrave Signal Box. Shopping centres and all the major shops were right next door.

The double room was modern and spotless. I really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast. - the staff was very nice and provided useful information. - the location was marvelous, directly opposite the train station. - the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The breakfast available was very pleasant with tea, coffee, biscuits, and juice, all served piping hot. Truly enjoyed having 3 windows, tea/coffee, and a new carpet in the excellent and welcoming room. - This location was brilliant, not far from the open-air theatre as well as the train station. Great location.

Proximity( 20s from the station) zero paperwork, care and cleanliness of beds.
We could use a general overhaul. Destroyed furniture in the lobby.

best location for train travelers, right across from the train station and yet only a ten-minute walk to the center. at the end of the 19th century it used to be the best house in town, nothing of the luxury has been left. it is incomparably cheap, with good full english (also veggie) breakfast. i had the corner room on the third floor, with a view of both the sea and castle. tea/coffee maker, water bottles and shower gel available. friendly, uncomplicated staff.
thorough encounter with a vacuum cleaner would have done the carpet in the stairwell good. single-fester ones are not really tight and noise-insulating. the hotel can't really do anything about the fact that construction workers with running truck engines pulled cables out of the passing road for hours in the middle of the night. bed was very shaky, with a list. tv is a small, old tube tv, at some point i even managed to get it to work. hotel's own pub was not very inviting for my taste, a few houses further towards the city centre there is the nice pub "the lord rosebery", with good, cheap food and beer until midnight.

Had a very nice stay at the weekend. Got the same double room booked online with an extremely comfy bed, air conditioning, and shower. - the hotel was located in a very central area just off near to the station, and the bus station.
